Bryngeir Ágúst Margeirsson

My name is Bryngeir Ágúst Margeirsson , I am 33 years old, born and raised in Stöðvarfjörður. I work as a sales manager at Eimskip in Fjarðabyggð I live in Reyðarfjörður with my wife Guðrún María Ásgeirsdóttir, who is a psychology student, and our three children, Angela Ósk, Borgþór Ágústi, and Arnþór Ásgeir.

I enjoy being with my family and traveling around the country, building and crafting with my children, and being at my father's workshop in Stöðvarfjörður.

I offer my efforts to help build a strong community and a strong rural community where young people want to settle and become part of the future of the rural community, where it is good to grow old and enjoy living in the later years of life.

The business world is very important to me and that it is allowed to grow and prosper with the help of the local government, and not so that the local government is an obstacle that needs to be overcome.

Coming from the beautiful Stöðvarfjörður, one thing that is very close to my heart is that transportation is always a fighting issue for every municipal council that sits at any given time. I feel that the Southfjords Road is a heavy burden there and not a month should go by without someone fighting for improvements there.
