Ingunn Eir Andrésdóttir

My name is Ingunn. Eir Andrésdóttir and was raised in Eskifjörður. I am married to Páll Jónsson, a department manager for the service department at the Icelandic Road Administration, and together we have three children. I care about our community and the people who live here, which is why I am running for office.

I am a trained aquaculture and business professional and am completing my MS in human resource management this summer. I also have a master's degree in cosmetology and ran a beauty salon in Eskifjörður for many years.

I want to focus on increasing cohesion, strengthening the economy and creating more opportunities. As a parent, I think especially about our children and the opportunities we create for them in the future. I think it is important that people feel good here in Fjarðabyggð and want to contribute to promoting increased well-being and strengthening our community.
