My name is Simona and I have worked at Launafl for almost six years. Married to Mindaugas and together we have two girls who are 12 and 14 years old,

My family and I moved to Iceland from Lithuania eighteen years ago, and since then we have lived in Fjarðabyggð for fourteen years. During this time I have had the opportunity to observe how Fjarðabyggð grows and changes. For example, I've seen new playgrounds rise and local businesses flourish, making the area even more family-friendly for people like us. 

I really appreciate how family friendly it is. Fjarðabyggð is, and after seeing these positive changes, I would like to contribute to the continued growth of the municipality and become a more active participant in the community. 

As the saying goes, "Like a tree, we have taken root here," and now I am ready to help foster the continued growth of Fjarðabyggð.
