Þórdís Mjöll Benediktsdóttir

I am Þórdís Mjöll Benediktsdóttir, kindergarten principal, mother of two and fiancée of Aðalsteinn Ingi Magnússon, a production worker at Alcoa. I am a down-to-earth and honest person who is passionate about building a strong and harmonious community. I find it important to approach projects with warmth, responsibility and respect.

I am running because I believe it is important for the voices of the people to be heard. I want to contribute to clear, fair and constructive decisions that serve the whole and strengthen the future. I want to emphasize building on cooperation rather than conflict, thinking about the future and choosing solutions that create security and stability for our children. 

I put in the effort in everything I do and believe that good communication, warmth and kindness are the keys to success. I want to create positive and trusting relationships with those I work for.

I am ready to make a commitment, work for the residents with integrity, and be an advocate for those who want positive development and a solid foundation for the future.
