The general meeting of the Independence Party's representative council in Fjarðabyggð took place at the golf club in Reyðarfjörður on Tuesday, April 7th.
At the meeting, Dýrunn Pála Skaftadóttir was elected chairwoman of the board. With her, the following were elected to the board: Guðgeir Fannar Margeirsson , Haraldur L. Haraldsson, Indridi Margeirsson , Jóhanna Sigfúsdóttir, Karl Indriðason and Sindri Sigurðsson .
The following were elected as alternate members of the board: Bryngeir Ágúst Margeirsson , Friðþjófur Tómasson, Heiðar Antonsson, Húnbogi Sólon Gunnþórsson and Tanja Tómasdóttir .
